This original for this image was made during a photoshoot for a Belgian newspaper, where the photographer was quite sceptical about my work (‘that’s not doodling what you do!’).
The shadow made me think of Oostende, a coastal town I really like. Friends of mine live there and they have a little dog. (They’re not sailors though.)
For this Big Print, I drew a new version, which is more detailed than the previous one.
Great to hang on your wall, and to dream about the seaside.
