This is a pineapple I bought in the summer of 2019, travelling in the mountains of Northern Italy. I was on holiday with my family and we always forgot to eat the pineapple, we dragged it along with us for a week. Finally, one morning, the sun was shining on our terrace and I saw these mountains appear. I had to be quick, because there were clouds coming and going… But finally the pineapple met its life’s purpose!
(We ate it the next day.)
This image was an audience favorite during the ‘Small is Beautiful’ exposition in Paris in 2021.
